Called Meeting Council Chamber July 21, 1876
Council called to order at 4.30 P.M. T.W. Shuster President of Board of Aldermen in the Chair Roll called and the following members answered, Aldermen Bremond Diffenbaugh Goodale, James, Larmour, Shuts and Taylor.
Absent Aldermen Cook and Robinson The President informed the Council that they had been called together for the purpose of taking action relative to the grading or repairing the gutters on Pecan Street Alderman Taylor introduced the following resolution Resolved by the City Council of the City of Austin That the Street Committee and City Engineer be required to devise means to keep the gutters clean and see that the Officers discharge their duties fully in preventing persons from annoying their neighbors by waste Water Adopted
On motion of Alderman Shuts the Council adjourned
