Alderman Miller moved that the call be suspended Lost Alderman Crocker came in and answered On Motion of Alderman Markley the call was suspended His Honor the Mayor stated that he had convened the Council at the request of three members, that he was not informed at the time the request was made of the object of the call, Whereupon Alderman Markley stated that as he was one of the three members that made the request for the called meeting of the Council, that the object of the call was for the purpose of taking further Action on the ordinance making an Appropriation for the establishing and building Pecan Street Martel
Alderman Lorrow moved that His Honor the Mayor be requested to take no action on the Ordinance for the establishing of the Pecan Street Martel until the next regular meeting Alderman Nalle rose to a point of order stating that the Motion of Alderman Lorrow was out of order and not such as could be entertained by the Council His Honor the Mayor ruled that the point of order was well taken but stated that he would pay due consideration to the wishes of the Council in the matter. By Alderman Miller. To His Honor the Mayor and City Council of the City of Austin.
