Called Meeting of City Council Austin Tr. January 15, 1880 Mayor De Gress presiding. Roll called and no quorum present. On motion, the council adjourned until seven o' clock tomorrow evening. Approved Feb. 3/80 City Clerk.
Adjourned meeting of City Council Austin Tr. January 16th 1880 Council met pursuant to adjournment. Mayor De Gress presiding. Roll called. Present Aldermen Nalle, and Wah-senberger. Alderman Wahsenberger moved a call of the council. The call being sustained the marshal was dispatched for the absentees. Aldermen Boardman, Coombs, Crooker, Reichman, Sheehan, and Tobin appeared and answered to their names. Quorum present. On Motion of Alderman Nalle the call was suspended The following business was transacted An ordinance amending section 1-3 of article 6-13 a of the ordinances of the City of Austin. Ordinance read first time and on motion the rules were suspended and the ordinance placed upon its second reading by the following vote: Yeas: — Aldermen Boardman, Crooker, Nalle, Reichman, Sheehan, Tobin and Wahsenberger. Nays: — Alderman Coombs. Ordinance read second time, and on motion the rules were further suspended and the ordinance placed upon its third reading by the following vote: Yeas: — Alderman Boardman, Crooker, Nalle, Reichman Sheehan, Tobin and Wahsenberger.
