138 Called Meeting of City Council Austin Texas. September 07, 1880 Mayor D. W. Crocker presiding Roll Call. Present, Aldermen Boardman. Milt. Halle, Platt, Robertson and Sheehan Absent, Alderman Reichman, Ohin W. Wehrenberger.Quorum Present. The Mayor stated that he had called the Council together to appoint places and judges of Election for City Officers, to be voted for on August 20th 1880. The same being read by to the Council by the Mayor they were agreed upon by the Council as stated in the Mayors proclamation. Petition of T. M. Bell. to continue his vanity show on East Pecan Street was read and the vote being 3 yeas and 3 nays, the Mayor voted in the negative. Alderman Halle moved a call of the Council which being duly seconded, the Marshal was dispatched for the absent Aldermen On Motion, Alderman Halle was excused from fines for being absent from Council Meetings for reason of his absence from the City.
