313 Regular Meeting of the City Council Austin Texas June 18, 1883 Hon. W A Saylor Mayor presiding. Roll call present Aldermen Lawrance schubar Suppert & Black On motion of Aldermen schubar the Council was called and the marshal sent after the absentees. Aldermen Rackley and Moallen came in and answered to their names. On motion the call of the was suspended. A fine of one dollar was entered against Aldermen Kinney Metz Brueggiehoff and Wilson for non attendance at this meeting. City Engineer J K McFall was granted four day leave of absence in June. John R Kirk City Marshal was granted leave of absence for thirty days in the months of July and August. An Ordinance granting to the State of Texas the right to build and operate a sewer from the Executive Mansion and Temporary State Capitol to the Colorado River was called up and read a second time. Alderman Haukberg was excused from further attendance at this council meeting On motion the Council adjourned J S Morrill City Clerk
