Austin, Tex. March 28, 1890. Hon. John Mc Donald, mayor, presiding.
Roll Call- Present- Aldermen Anderson, Graham, Hume, Linn, Morris, Newton, North, Platt, Schneider, Townsend, Ziller - 11. Absent- Aldermen Assmann, Boland, Carleton, Jackson, Jones, Metz, Nitschke, Phillips, Schuler-9. The following Call of the Council was then read: Austin Tex. March 28, 1890. To the members of the City Council.
Gentlemen: I hereby call a meeting of the City Council of the City of Austin to meet in the Council room at 11.30 p.m. this the 28th day of March, 1890, for the purpose of receiving and considering Engineer Frizzell's report on the proposed dam. John Mc Donald, Mayor. The report of Engineer Frizzell on the proposed dam to be built across the Colorado river was presented and read. Alderman Morris moved to refer it to the Committee on water and Light and that the Mayor be requested to Cause the Same to be presented to the citizens meeting tonight at the Opera house, also that the Same be printed in the Daily Statesman. Carried. Alderman Anderson moved that the Council stand adjourned. Carried. Milton Morris, City Clerk.
