McCall Mayor presiding Roll Called Present Aldermen Dunham Glass Morris Mortimer Nolen & Stump 6 Absent Alderman Fischer 1 On Motion of Alderman Morris the minutes of the last regular Meeting were approved as recorded by the clerk without reading. Reports of City Officers Report The Mayor laid before the Council the report of the Marshall City Marshall for the Month of Sept 1899, which was on Motion referred to the Police Committee without reading - The following is a synopsis of the report Total amount of fines assessed in Mayors Court during the Month $370.00 Paid in Cash $270.00 Worked out 68.00 Carried forward 27.00 $370.00 Cash fines Collected 18.00 Total Number of arrests 66 Pound fees Collected 25.50 Unfinished Business Corp Court The Mayor laid before the Council the Corporation Court Ordinance ordinance Alderman Dunham moved to postpone further Consideration of Same until the next Meeting which Motion prevailed The Mayor then laid before the Council the Dog ordinance Dog ordinance which was read the Second TimeAlderman Mortimer offered a substitute for the original ordinance, which was read and on Motion was referred to the ordinance Committee by the following Vote Yeas Aldermen Dunham Morris Nolen Stump 4 Nays Aldermen Glass Mortimer 2 New Business Printing Alderman Glass offered the following resolution Com to adn Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Austin, that for bids to the printing Committee be and are hereby authorized to have publish the proceedings of the City Council of the City of Austin proceedings printed in some Newspaper of the City for the better information of the Citizens." Alderman Morris moved to amend the resolution, that the Committee be authorized to advertise for bids" Alderman Glass accepted the amendment and the resolution was adopted.
