White Mayor Presiding Roll Called Present Aldermen Crooken Davis Low Maddax Mortimer Schneider Shelley Shumate Stumph Ulich 10 Absent Aldermen Gillis Kinne Nitschke Redd 4 The following Roll of the Council was read Austin Texas July 11th 1901 A special meeting of the City Council is hereby Called to meet in the Council Chamber at City Hall at 8 o’clock P.M. Shaugh, this July 11th 1901, for the purpose of Amending the resolution authorizing the appointing of a special Committee to effect a Settlement of the bonded debts. R.E. White Mayor J.M. Montgomery City Marshal Alderman Redd entered the Council Chamber. Resolution 15 Alderman Shelley moved to reconsider the vote by which the appointing resolution authorizing the appointment of a special Committee on bonded debt to Confer with the holders of the City’s water & Light bonds, and amended. a view to a Settlement on Compromise of Same was passed. City Atty the which motion prevailed. motion Alderman Shelley moved to Amend the resolution by adding the City Attorney to the Committee. Alderman Crooken the adoption of the original resolution accepted the Amendment offered by Alderman Shelley – The resolution was then passed and on motion the Council adjourned. J.O.
