White Mayor, presiding Roll Called Present Aldermen Brooker, Haynes, Quacken, Waddal, Moore Nitschke, Shelley, Shunate, Pruitt, Pruit, Absent Aldermen Hume, Weller, Redd, Schneider 10 The following Call of the Council was read. 4 Austin, Texas, Dec 7th 1904 A special meeting of the City Council is hereby Called to meet in the Council Chamber at City Hall, Austin, Texas, at 8 oclock P.M. this Wednesday Dec 7th 1904, for the purpose of 1st To pass a resolution directing how the Interest Collected on the Assessment for the year 1904, shall be deposited. 2nd To transfer $189.51 from the Interest and Sinking fund for the year 1904, to the Sinking fund of the Water & Light bonds 3rd To make an appropriation out of the Sinking fund of the Water and Light bonds, four thousand one hundred and fifty dollars for the purpose of paying for five, one thousand dollar bonds of the City of Austin, Purchased for said Sinking fund. Montgomery, City Marshal of the City of Austin, Texas, do hereby certify that the following named Aldermen have been served with the above Call by having read it to them in person, Viz: Aldermen Waddal, Haynes, Nitschke, Hume, Weller, Quacken, Pruitt, Brooker, Shunate, Shelley, Shumat, Pruitt, Moore Schneider. Respectfully, H. W. Montgomery, City Marshal. Resolution regarding Interest funds Hon R. E. etc Alderman Waddal offered the following resolution which was read and adopted. "Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Austin, Texas! 1st That the City Treasurer be and he is hereby directed to open an account to be Known and Called "The Interest and Sinking fund account for the year 1904" in which he shall Keep all monies Collected for Interest and Sinking fund for bonded indebtedness on the Assessment for the year 1904. 2nd That the Assessor & Collector be and he is hereby directed to deposit all monies Collected for Interest and Sinking fund for bonded indebtedness on the assessment rolls in the Interest and Sinking fund acc't for the year 1904. --- Page break --- 253 Alderman Schneider entered the Council Chamber Alderman Maddox offered the following resolution which was read and adopted. Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Austin: Transfer Funds That the City Treasurer be and he is hereby directed to transfer from "The Interest and Sinking fund account for the year 1905" to "The Sinking fund of the water and lightbonds of the City of Austin" the sum of $109.57. Alderman Maddox offered the following resolution which was read and adopted. Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Austin, Tex: Transfer funds That the City Treasurer be and he is hereby directed to transfer from the "Bonded Indebtedness account" the sum of $121.59 to "The Interest and Sinking fund account for the Year 1904. Said $121.59 being the amount of interest and sinking fund collected and deposited in said "Bonded indebtedness account" up to Dec. 1st 1904, on the assessment for bonded indebtedness for the Year 1904. By Alderman Maddox an Ordinance appropriating the sum of $4150.00 for the purpose of purchasing bonds for To purchase bonds the Sinking fund.
