582 Called a Meeting of the City Council Austin, Iowa, Sept 26th 1906 Hon W.B. Shelley, Mayor, Presiding Roll Called Present Aldermen Armstrong, Cunes, Haynes & Moore Petri, Rudd & Wilhelm Absent Aldermen Crooker, Machen, Willer & Powell 7 Shumate, Smith & Von Rosenberg Alderman Moore moved a Call of the Council, which was seconded, and the Marshal directed to bring in the absentees. Aldermen Crooker, Powell & Smith entered the Council Chamber and answered to their names. On motion the Call was Suspended. Ordinance By Alderman Haynes An ordinance Appropriating the Sum of $ 4000.00 for the purpose of paying the interest due on Oct 1st 1906, on $32,000.00 of Water & Light bonds of the City. The ordinance was read the first time and passed under Suspension of the rules by the following vote Yeas Aldermen Armstrong, Crooker, Cunes, Haynes Moore, Petri, Powell, Rudd, Smith & Wilhelm 10 Nays none On Motion the Council Adjourned J.L.
