By Alderman Haynes an ordinance appropriating the sum of $ 40,765.00 for the purpose of paying Salaries of Officers and Employees for the year 1908; Section 1 Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Austin: That the sum of Forty Thousand Seven hundred and sixty five dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary, be and the same is hereby appropriated out of any money in the General fund in the City treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the purpose of paying the Salaries of Officers and Employees for the year 1908.
