Ordinance Amending an ordinance setting aside 2 ½ per cent of the advalorum taxes for Cemetery purposes ,and an ordinance setting aside 5 % of the advalo-rum taxes for Park purposes,an ordinance setting apart ,in addition to the 25 % of the advalorum taxes,set apart by the Charter for Street purposes,an additional 2 ½ per cent of the revenue derived from advalorum taxation. Appropriation Water & Light An ordinance appropriating the sum of $ 25,000.00 for the purpose of paying approved accounts Water & Light Dept,and an ordinance appropriating the sum of $ 10,000.00 for the purpose of paying approved accounts General fund and an ordinance appropriating the sum of $ 2,500.00 for the purpose of paying approved accounts Street Dept. Councilman Powell offered the following resolution: Resolved by the City Council of the City of Austin,that authority and City Atty. to file suit trespass title Garden Street direction are hereby given City Attorney,J B Rector,to file suit in the trespass to try title against J Schapiro,for the purpose of determ-ing the City's title to that portion of Garden Street,said to be encroached upon by said J Schapito.
