The resolution was adopted by the following vote: Yeas Mayor Wooldridge, Councilmen Bartholomew, Gracy, Hart & Powell 5 Nays none. . On motion the Council recessed subject to call of the Mayor.
. June 13th 1910. The Council was called to order by the Mayor, with all members present except Councilman Powell, absent sick. Leave absence Councilman Bartholomew The Mayor laid before the Council the following resolution, viz: Resolved by the City Council of the City of Austin: That leave of absence be and is hereby granted to E C Bartholomew for thirty (30) days, or so much thereof as he may desire to use, from June 16th to July 16th, 1910. Leave absence Councilman Powell The Mayor laid before the Council the following resolution, viz: Resolved by the City Council of the City of Austin: That leave of absence is hereby granted Councilman Powell for thirty days (30) , or so much thereof as he may desire to use, from June 29th to July 29th , 1910. The resolution was adopted by the following vote: Yeas Mayor Wooldridge, Councilmen Bartholomew, Gracy & Hart 4 Nays none. Appropriation $10.000. To purchase Poles, Wire, etc. By Councilman Bartholomew an ordinance appropriating the sum of $ 10,000.00 for the purpose of purchasing Poles, Wire, Transformers and other material. The ordinance was read the first time and the rule suspended and it placed on its second reading by the following vote : Yeas Mayor Wooldridge, Councilmen Bartholomew, Gracy, & Hart 4 Nays none. Appropriation of payment interest due July 1st 1910 The ordinance was read the second time and laid over. By Councilman Gracy an ordinance appropriating the sum of $ 30,030.00 for the purpose of paying the interest due July 1st 1910, on $ 1.505,000.00 Refunding bonds of the City of Austin, Texas.
