Austin, Feby 3rd 1911. The Council was called to order by the Mayor, with all members present. Councilman Powell moved that the contract for Sidewalks on. East 9th and 22½ streets Contract for sidewalk Eqma ^ 22½ sts be awarded to J Brueggermann,he being the lowest and best bidder,which motion Awarded to J Brueggermann prevailed by the following vote : Yeas Mayor Wooldridge,Councilmen Bartholomew,Gracy,Hart & Powell 5 Nays none. By Councilman Powell an ordinance appropriating the sum of $ 2,575.00 for the Appra for Bridge 5th & nueces St's purpose of paying estimates on contract for culvert at 5th & Nueces streets and salary of Inspector for one month. The ordinance was read the first time and the rule suspended and it placed on its second reading by the following vote : Yeas Mayor Wooldridge,Councilmen Bartholomew,Gracy,Hart & Powell 5 Nays none. The ordinance was read the second time and laid over . The Mayor laid before the Council a proposition from the Steasman Co to compromise Judgement Austin Statesman Compromised Judgement in the Dist Court of Travis County ,for the sum of $ 669.00. The proposition was accepted by the following vote : Yeas Mayor Wooldridge,Councilmen Bartholomew,Hart & Powell 4 Nays Councilman Gracy 1
