Friday, August 11, 1911 P.M. The Council was called to order by the Mayor with all members present. The minutes of the last regular and subsequent recessed meetings were read and approved. Reports of City Officers: The Mayor laid before the Council the reports of the Treasurer, the Clerk, the Marshal, and the Pure Food Inspectors for the month of July 1911, which were read and ordered filed. The Council then recessed subject to call of the Mayor. The mayor laid before the Council the following resolution: Resolved that Councilman Jas P. Hart be and he is hereby authorized and instructed to prorate amongst the unpaid creditors of J.G. Parker, the sum remaining on hand due and owing by the City of Austin to J.G. Parker for labor done and material supplied in the construction of the storm sewer system on and about East Avenue Park, from 16th to 19th streets in this City. The resolution was adopted by the following vote: Yeas Mayor Woldridge, Council Men Bartholomew, Hart, Lockridge & Powell Nays None. The mayor laid before the Council the following resolution: Resolved by the City Council of the City of Austin, that Councilman Jas P. Hart, be and he is hereby authorized and instructed to re-advertise for the letting of a contract to construct a concrete curbing and gutter about East Avenue Park, from 16th to 19th streets in this City. The resolution was adopted by the following vote: Yeas Mayor Wooldridge, Councilmen Bartholomew, Hart, Lockridge & Powell Nays None. The Council then recessed subject to call of the Mayor.
