Regular meeting of the City Council: Austin, Texas, January 15, 1914. The Council was called to order by the Mayor: Roll called : Present Mayor Wooldridge, Councilmen Anthony, Bartholomew, Haynes & Powell 5 Absent none. The minutes of the last regular and subsequent recessed meetings were read and adopted Imp Lavaca st The Mayor laid before the Council the Report of the Sanitary Inspectorfor the resolution laid month of December 1913,and the annual report of the Assessor & Collector for the year 1913 over ✓ which were read and filed. Councilman Powell presented a resolution ordering the improvement of Lavacca street from 6th to 7th street,which was read and laid over for one week. The Mayor laid before the Council the following resolution: Plumbing Inspector Resolved by the City Council of the City of Austin that L A Palmer,Plumbing Inspector, authorized to buy be and he is hereby authorized to expend for Gasoline in the operation of his Autimobile Gas for Auto ✓ when used in City service a sum of money not to exceed twelve ($12.00) dollars per month. The resolution was adopted by the following vote : Yeas Mayor Wooldridge, Councilmen Anthony,Bartholomew, Haynes & Powell 5 Nays none. Approved, A P Wooldridge, Mayor.
