Councilman Haynes offered the following resolution : Whereas, it appears from the attached sworn statement of E D Junken, an Officer of the Highland Presbyterian Church of this City, that lot no 29 in block no 35, Div "D"of the City of Austin,Texas, was on the 1st day of January 1913, the property of said Highland Presbyterian Church and was conveyed to said Church on the 15th day of August ,1912, to be used and occupied by said Church solely for religeous purposes, and has contiued to be owned , held and used for purposes from that date until now.
