    Authorized a $25 payment to A. Leisering as full compensation for damages caused by overflowed lands.

991 , Regular meeting of the City Council : Austin,Texas, March 04, 1915: The Council was called to order by the M/ayor: Roll called : Present Mayor Wooldridge, Councilmen Anthony, Bartholomew, Haynes & Powell 5 Absent none. The minutes of the last regular and subsequent recessed meetings wre read and adopted: Reports of City Officers: The Mayor laid before the Council the reports of the Assessor & Collector& the City health officer, which were read and osdered filed : The Mayor laid before the council the following resolution : Resolved by the City Council of the City of Austin : Assignment of That the sum of $ 250.00 be and the same is hereby assigned out of an approprifund for improvement ation from the General Contingent fund of the City of Austin,Texas, for the year 1915 Hospital and set apart for improvements to the old City Hospital ,with authority hereby given to the Supt of Police & Public Safety to disburse said $ 250.00 as in his judgement may be best for repairs and improvements to said building. The resoluyion was adopted by the following vote : Yeas Mayor Wooldridge, Councilmen Anthony, Bartholomew, Haynes & Powell 5 Nays none, The Mayob laid before the Council the following resolution : Whereas, it appears from the attached affidavit of Will H Jackson, agent, Will H Jackson that the improvements upon Lot No 19,situated at 607 Patterson Avenue,West End Heights, Assessment in the City of Austin,Texas, assessed at one thousand ($1,000.00) dollars ,only cost Reduced $ 557.00,and are not of a value exceeding one-half of said assessment of $ 1,000.00, Now therefore, Resolved by the City Council of the City of Austin,Texas: That the assessment of improvements upon said lot No 19, be and the same are hereby reduced from $ 1,000.00,to $ 500.00. The resolution was adopted by the following vote : Yeas Mayor Wooldridge, Councilmen Anthany, Bartholomew, Haynes & Powell 5 Nays none, Approved, A P Wooldridge, Mayor. March 5th 1915, All presentexcept Haynes The Mayor laid before the Council the following resolution : Resolved by the City Council of the City of Austin,Texas: A Leisering That the sum of $ 25.00 be and the same is hereby appropristed out of the General Continge Damages. fund of the City of Austin ,Texas, for the year 1915, in payment in full of all claim s for damages of A Leisering against this City for overflowed lands ,as is more specificall set out in the receipt of the said A Leisering which is attached to and filed as an exhibit to this resolution .
