Regular meeting of the City Council: Austin, Texas, May 20, 1915: The Council was called to order by the Mayor: Roll called : Present Mayor Wooldridge, Councilmen Anthony, Bartholomew, Haynes & Powell 5 Absent none: Reports of City Officers: The Mayor laid before the Council the report of the Sanitary Inspector for the month of City Employees Petitioned holiday Saturday half holiday June 5 to Sep 4, '15 April 1915, which was read and ordered filed : The Mayor laid before the Council a petition from Employees of the different Departments, asking that the offices of the City Government be closed on Saturday at 12 O'clock ,from June 5th to Sept 4th 1915. The petition was granted by the following vote : Yeas Mayor Wooldridge, Councilmen Anthony, Bartholomew, Haynes & Powell 5 Nays none.
May 25th 1915: Councilman Anthony offered the following resolution : Resolved by the City Council of the City of Austin : Pound fees Mrs. Jennie Pursley remitted That for good and sufficient reasons unto the City Council moving, the pound fees ag against Mrs Jennie Pursley ,amounting to $ 3.00,for cattle impounded on the 24thday of May 1915, be and the same is hereby remitted .
