Regular meeting of the City Council: Austin, Texas, May 20, 1915: The Council was called to order by the Mayor: Roll called : Present Mayor Wooldridge, Councilmen Anthony, Bartholomew, Haynes & Powell 5 Absent none: Reports of City Officers: The Mayor laid before the Council the report of the Sanitary Inspector for the month of City Employees Petitioned holiday Saturday half holiday June 5 to Sep 4, '15 April 1915, which was read and ordered filed : The Mayor laid before the Council a petition from Employees of the different Departments, asking that the offices of the City Government be closed on Saturday at 12 O'clock ,from June 5th to Sept 4th 1915. May 25th 1915: Councilman Anthony offered the following resolution : Resolved by the City Council of the City of Austin : Pound fees Mrs. Jennie Pursley remitted That for good and sufficient reasons unto the City Council moving, the pound fees ag against Mrs Jennie Pursley ,amounting to $ 3.00,for cattle impounded on the 24thday of May 1915, be and the same is hereby remitted . Councilman Powell offered the following resolution : Resolved by the City Council of the City of Austin,Texas : Sanitary Sewer Extension West 25th St. Walter Grimmer property That the sum of $ 150.00, or so much thereof as may prove to be necessary,be and the same is hereby appropriated out of the Construction fund of the Sanitary Sewer Departmentof this City to extend a sanitary sewer main to serve the property of Walter Grimmer,and others who may hereafter connect with said Sanitary Sewer,for a distance of approximtely 500 feet on West 25th street west of Roi Grande street. The Mayor laid before the Council the following resolution : Resolved by the City Council of the City of Austin,Texas: That a permit be and is hereby granted the Reinhart & Donovan Co to erect and Reinhart maintain during the time of construction of the addition to the Littlefield Building, Donovan in this City a Wooden one story Office shack and tool room upon the rear of the east end Office Shack of the lot owned by Mrs J Hirshfeld ,and being lot No 3,Block 69, in the City of Austin, Texas, and occupied by H K Park and E Rutherford. T is permit is temporary and revocable at the pleasure of the City Council ,and is expressly based upon the written consent of Mrs J Hirshfeld ,Owner, and H K Park and E Rutherford, tenants, of the premises in front of the shack and tool room here authorized to be erected, attached hereto and made a part of this resolution.
