Regular meeting of the City Council : Austin,Texas, May 27, 1915: The Council was called to order by the Mayor: Roll called : Present Mayor Wooldridge, Councilmen Anthony, Bartholomew, Haynes & Powell 5 Absent None. The minutes of the last regular and subsequent recessed meetings were read and approved . Councilman Haynes presented a bill of J W Maxwell,for collecting delinquent taxes, amounting to $ 134.46, which was allowed and prdered paid by the following vote : Yeas Mayor Wooldridge, Councilmen Anthony, Bartholomew ,Haynes & Powell 5 Nays none.
Resolved by the City Council of the City of Austin : That to correct errors made by the City Assessor & Collector in his monthly report for the month of April ,1915, the City Treasurer be and he is hereby instruoted to make the following transfers: (1) Transfer the sum of $ 95.30,from the general street fund to the General fund: (2) Transfer the sum of $ 9.53, from the Park fund to the General fund : (3) Transfer the sum of $ 6.35, from Oakwood Cemetery fund to the General fund: The resolution was adopted by the following vote : Yeas Mayor Wooldridge, Councilmen Anthony, Bartholomew, Haynes & Powell 5 Nays none.

The Mayor laid before the Council the following resolution : Resolved by the City Council of the City of Austin,Texas : That the sum of $ 400.00 ,dollars be and the same is hereby appropriatedout of the General Contingent fund of the City of Austin,Texas, for the year 1915, to be used as a contribution to street sprinkling ,said $ 400.00, to be paid at the rate of $ 100.00 per month ,beginning June 1st 1915. The resolution was adopted by the following vote : Yeas Mayor Wooldridge, Councilmen Anthony, Bartholomew, Haynes & Powell 5 Nays none.
The Mayor laid before the Council a petition from J W T Goslin ,for permission to erect a smoke stack at the Avenue Hotel Building on East 8th street, which was read and on motion the same declined by the following vote : Yeas Mayor Wooldridge, Councilmen Anthony, Bartholomew, 'Haynes & Powell 5 Nays none.

June 1st 1015: All present: Councilman Anthony offered the following resolution :
Whereas, it appears from the attached statement of J D Copeland, Clerk of the Corporation Court of the City of Austin,that he had deposited in errorin the Ci$ Treasurythe amount of $ 19.80, costs an d fine imposed gainst Fred Hawk,in cause NO 9408,Corporation Court City of Austin,Texas, which payment he made into the City Treasury in error ,he, the said Fred Hawk,having appealed his case to the County Courtand not having made payment of the $ 19.80,fine and costs,as believed by the Clerk of the Corporation Court., R fund J. D. Copeland Corporation Court Amt $ 19.80 in error. Now, therefore, Resolved by the City Council of the City of Austin,Texas : That in view of the facts, the sum of $ 19.80 ,be and the same is hereby appropriated out of the General Contingent fund of the City of Austin,Texas,as a refund to the said J D Copeland,for fine and costs paid by him in error,into the City treasury of the City of Austin,Texas,in cause No 9408, City of Austin vs Fred Hawk. The resolution was adopted by the following vote : Yeas Mayor Wooldridge,Councilmen Anthony, Bartholomew, Haynes & Powell 5 Nays none, Approved, A P Wooldridge, Mayor.
Councilman Anthony offered the following resolution : Whereas, in consideration of the dependency of the wife of Troy Taylor and the fact that said wife has an infant childabout two months old,and in consideration of the fact that the offense of shooting crapsproved against the Troy Taylor Fine suspended said Troy Tayloris his first offense against the criminal laws of this City, Now, therefore, Resolved by the City Council of the City of Austin: That the fine and costs imposed in cause NO 9430, State of Texas vs Troy Taylor,in the Corporation Court of the City of Austin,Texas, and amounting to $ 19.80, be and the same is hereby suspended. The resolution was adopted by the following vote : Yeas Mayor Wooldridge, Councilmen Anthony, Bartholomew, Haynes & Powell 5 Nays none, Approved, A P Wooldridge, Mayor.
