347 "Regular meeting of the City Council : Austin, Texas, October 07, 1915: The Council was called to order by the Mayor: Roll called: Present Mayor Wooldridge, Councilmen Anthony, Bartholomew, Haynes & Powell 5 Absent none: The minutes of the last regular and subsequent recessed meetings were read and adopted: Reports of City Officers: The Mayor laid before the Council the reports of the Assessor & Collector of taxes, the Asst City Clerk, the Fire Marshal ,the City Marshal & the City Health Officer, which were read and ordered filed: The following applications for license as Drivers of 'Service' cars, were presented Driver licenses read and taken under advisement. R F Trousdale, & Chas E Crawford: October 11th 1915: Councilman Powell offered the following resolution : Resolved by the City Council of the City of Austin H B Armstrong That $ 8.00 .of the charge for $ 27.00, for sanitary sewer service ,made against the premis Sewer Charge -is at 2628 Wichita street in this City and owned by H B Armstrong, but occupied by J T remitted Patterson, lessee, be remitted by reason of the vacancy of said premises for 3 months in the summer of 1913, 4 months of the summer of 1914, and 4 months of the summer of 1915, and Be it further resolved : That the Cashier of the Sanitary Sewer Dept, of the City of Austin, Texas, be entitled and instructed to take credit upon his accounts in accordance with the terms of this resolution. The resolution was adopted by the following vote : Yeas Mayor Wooldridge, Councilmen Anthony, Bartholomew, Haynes & Powell 5 Nays none. Approved, A P Wooldridge, Mayor. The Mayor laid before the Council applications for Drivers 1 license from the following named persons, viz: Driver licenses Giles Harris, 202 East 23rd street & L J Johnson, 1310 West 5th street: The applications were granted by the following vote: Yeas Mayor Wooldridge, Councilmen Anthony, Bartholomew, Haynes & Powell 5 Nays none: Councilman Powell offered the following resolution : Resolved by the City Council of the City of Austin : That the sum of $ 21.00, be and the same is hereby appropriated out of the Sanitary W D Hart Sewer Earnings Fund for the year 1915, in payment in full for damagessustained by W D Hart, Damages at his premises at 1205 San Antonio street in this City, caused by the backing up of sewage into said premises on the night of April 22nd, 1915. The resolution was adopted by the following vote : Yeas Mayor Wooldridge, Councilmen Anthony, HXK Bartholomew, Haynes & Powell 5 Nays none. Approved, A P Wooldridge, Mayor. Jno.
