420 . Regular meeting of the City Council, Austin, Texas ,January 27, 1916: The Council was called to order by the Mayor: Roll called : Present Mayor Wooldridge& Councilman Bartholomew 2 Absent Councilmen Anthony, Haynes & Powell 3 There being NO quorum present , the Council recessed:

January 29th 1916, All present: The Mayor laid before the Council the following resolution : Resolved by the City Council of the City of Austin, Texas : Pricuropen That the sum of $ 296.66, out of the unehausted appropriation for salary of Public Weigher Public Weigher in the budget of the Mayor of the City of Austin, Texas, for dept the year 1915, be and the same is hereby transferred to the appropriation for supplies for public weigherin said budget,which at this time is $296.66, overdrawn . The resolution was adopted by the following vote : Yeas Mayor Wooldridge, Councilmen Anthony, Bartholomew, Haynes & Powell 5 Nays none, Approved, A P Wooldridge, Mayor. The Mayor laid before the Council the following resolution : Resolved b y the City Council of the City of Austin, Texas : Pricuropen That the sum of $ 163.20, be and the same is hereby transferred from Cemetery funds the Account of Tools and Incidentals at Oakwood Cemetery in the budget of the Mayor of the City of Austin, Texas, for the year 1915, to assist in covering an overdraft of $ 388.20, in the appropriation for labor at said Cemetery. The resolution was adopted by the following vote : Yeas Mayor Wooldridge, Councilmen Anthony, Bartholomew, Haynes & Powell 5 Nays none, Approved, A P Wooldridge, Mayor. The Mayor laid before the Council the following resolution : Resolved by the City Council of the City of Austin, Texas : That the sum of $ 225.00,be and the same is hereby transferred from the appro-priation for Soil, Gravel and grading at Oakwood Cemetery in the budget of the Mayor of the City of Austin, Texas, for the year 1915, to the appropriation for labor at said Cemetery , which appropriation is $ 388.20 overdrawn. The resolution was adopte by the following vote : Yeas Mayor Wooldridge, Councilmen Anthony, Bartholomew, Haynes & Powell 5 Nays none, Approved, A P Wooldridge, Mayor. 422 Plans & Spec. Bridge Stone road. Councilman Powell offered the following resolution : Resolved by the City Council of the City of Austin, Texas : That the following specifications and attached plan for a re-inforced concrete bridge on the Stone road across a ravine between Travis Heighhhs and Van Smith's place be, and the same are hereby approved and adopted,and the Supt of Streets and Public Improvements is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for this work. The resolution was adopted by the following vote : Yeas Mayor Wooldridge, Councilmen Anthony, Bartholomew, Haynes & Powell Nays none. Approved, A P Wooldridge, Mayor. The Mayor laid before the Council the following applications for Drivers licen -ses for service cars,viz : S R Evans 302 East 10th street, Ed Reese ,600 Colorado street.
