559 Be it further resolved by the City Council of the City of Austin: That the sum of $ 23.83, unearned portion of sand license,be and the same is hereby appropriated out of the General Contingent fund of the City of Austin, Texas, and made payable to the said Otto Dildy. The Chair laid before the Council the following resolution : Thomson Motor Car Co Permit Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Austin, Texas : That a permit is hereby granted to the Thomson Motor Car Co,to install and maintain a 280 gallon gasoline tank to be approved by the Supt of Police and Public Safety ,under the sidewalk on the south side of east 5th streetto be located thirty (30) feet east of the east line of Congress Avenue in t he City of Austin, Texas. Resolved further: That in connection with t is gasoline tankhereby authorized to be installed the said Thomson Motor Car Company is authorized to install and maintain a 5 gallon Wayne gasoline pump to be located on the south curb line of East 5th street, thirty feet ( 30") east of the east line of Congress Avenue or at a position to be designated by the Supt of Streets and Public Improvements ; said gasoline pump to be of the most modern and approved construction and design and subject to the approval of the Supt of Police and Public Safety. Resolved further: That the hose through which air, gasoline or any other oil or volatile sub-stance is conveyed by pumping or otherwise ,from the store house on the south- East corner of XX8X Congress Avenue and 5th street or from the tank authori-zed to be placed in front of same must be kept neatly coiled and stored in a receptacle provided for such hose in the pump authorized to be installed or suspended from a suitable bracket attached to the pump.
