742 .Regular meeting of the City Council : Austin,Texas : March 15, 1917: The Council was called to order by Mayor pro tem Powell,Roll called: Present Councilmen Anthony, Bartholomew, Haynes & Powell 4 Absent Mayor Wooldridge 1. The minutes of the last regular and subsequent recessed meetings were read and adopted: Councilman Haynes presented the report of the Sanitary Inspector for the months of January & February 1917, which was read and ordered filed: Councilman Powell offered the following resolution : Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Austin,Texas: That the sum of $ 800.00, be and the same is hereby appropriated out of the Sanitary Sewer fund to pay for a a line of 6 inch sewer 1250 feet in lengh beginning at the intersection of 30th street ,extending southward to 29th NXXX street,thence westward on 29th street to the alley between Guadalupe and Rio Grande streets ,thence southward through said alley to a point 100 feet north of 28th street and including the construction of two manholes and a flush tank. The resolution was adopted by the following vote: Yeas Councilmen Anthony, Bartholomew, Haynes & Powell 4 Absent Mayor Wooldridge 1 Approved, P W Powell, Mayor pro tem The Council then adjourned.
