BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL: That the sum of Forty-five Dollars ($45.00) out of the salary of the General Secretary of the United Charities of this city for the months of October, November and December, 1918, be and the same is hereby withdrawn from the salary of said General Secretary of the United Charities and hereby credited to the salary of the Assistant Secretary of the United Charities for the months of October, November and December, 1918. The resolution was adopted by a vote of 5 yeas, no nays. APPROVED, Sept. 28, 1918: A. P. Wooldridge, Mayor. Councilman Haynes offered the following resolution: RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUSTIN: That the assessment of an automobile against H. P. Atkinson for taxes of the year 1917 be and the same is hereby reduced from $550.00 to $350.00. See attached affidavit as the basis for this resolution. The resolution was adopted by a vote of 5 yeas, no nays. APPROVED, Sept. 28, 1918: A. P. Wooldridge, Mayor. The Council then adjourned.

SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL: Austin, Texas, Sept. 30, 1918.
The Council met with all members present except Councilman Anthony. The Mayor laid before the Council the following resolution: RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUSTIN, TEXAS: That the assessment of a Buick automobile against K. W. Harrell for the year 1917 is hereby reduced from $350.00 to $200.00. See attached affidavit as the basis for this resolution. The resolution was passed by a vote of 4 yeas, no nays. APPROVED, Sept. 30, 1918: A. P. Wooldridge, Mayor. The Council then adjourned.
