SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL: Austin, Texas, Nov. 25, 1918.
The Council met with all members present. The Mayor laid before the Council the following resolution: RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUSTIN: B. A. Salisch That S. A. Salisch, keeper of West Twelfth Street park, be Leave of absence and he is granted leave of absence from his work from Dec. 9 to Dec. 31, 1918, dates inclusive; and that one-third of such leave shall be at his usual rate of salary, the remaining two-thirds being at his own expense.
The resolution was adopted by a vote of 5 yeas, no nays. APPROVED, Nov. 25, 1918: A. P. Wooldridge, Mayor. The Council then adjourned.

SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL: Nov. 27, 1918.
The Council met with all members present. The Mayor laid before the Council the following resolution: RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUSTIN: Dr. O. H. Radkey That in accordance with the law of the State of Texas, the Paid sum of One Hundred Twenty-one Dollars and Twenty-five Cents ($121.25) Apprd. for filing be and the same is hereby appropriated out of the General Contingent Vital Statistics Fund of this city, in payment of the bill of Dr. O. H. Radkey, City Health Officer, for said sum, as per attached certificate of the State Registrar of Vital Statistics showing that the said Dr. Radkey filed with him 485 birth and death certificates. The resolution was passed by a vote of 5 yeas, no nays. APPROVED, Nov. 27, 1918: A. P. Wooldridge, Mayor. There was laid before the Council the following resolution: RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUSTIN: O N Hammonds That all but $9.90 of the fine and costs, amounting to $24.80, [illegible] assessed against O. N. Hammonds, for fast driving of an automobile, in Cause No. 13137, Corporation Court of the City of Austin, be and the same is hereby remitted, the amount remitted being $14.90. This action is taken in consideration of the fact that the said Hammonds is a soldier, drawing small remuneration, and the further fact that he has not heretofore offended against the city ordinances. The resolution was passed by a vote of 5 yeas, no nays. APPROVED, Nov. 27, 1918: A. P. Wooldridge, Mayor. The Council then adjourned.
