102 Annex be not leveled down. The Council then adjourned. V. E. Martin City Clerk SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL: Austin, Texas, Dec. 7, 1918. The Council met with all members present. The Mayor laid before the Council the following resolution: RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUSTIN, TEXAS: That the sum of Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00), or so much thereof as may prove to be necessary, be and the same is hereby appropriated out of the General Contingent Fund of the City of Austin, Texas, as an additional appropriation for the salaries of extra help in making up tax rolls and assessing. The resolution was adopted by a vote of 5 yeas, no nays. APPROVED, Dec. 7, 1918: A. P. Wooldridge, Mayor. Appre. Extra help on Tax Rolls The following resolution was laid before the Council: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUSTIN, TEXAS: That the Hirshfeld Estate be and the same is hereby given a permit to erect a frame chain awning to be constructed in strict conformity with the city specifications governing the erection of awnings within the business district of the City of Austin.
