Changes in List of election officers.
SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL: Austin, Texas, Mar. 22, 1919.
The Council met with all members present except Councilman Anthony.
The Mayor nominated J. W. Hill to act temporarily as presiding judge of elections in the Fourth Ward, instead of Charles Rogan, who was unable to serve; J. W. Maxwell to be assisting judge in place of W. N. McElroy, and J. W. Kerns to be clerk in place of J. W. Maxwell. Also he nominated Jim H. Hubbard to be a clerk of election in the Third Ward in place of R. W. Foster, and E. K. Kelly and A. L. Heller to be clerks of election in the Sixth Ward, one of them to take the place of Leo Carrington who was unable to serve.
These changes were made by a vote of 4 yeas, no nays.
The Council then adjourned.
