203 SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL: Austin, Texas, Apr. 29, 1919. The Council met with all members present except Councilman Anthony. There were read to the Council reports of C. E. Leonard, City Engineer, and P. W. Powell, Superintendent of Streets and Public Improvements, concerning the Finley Method Asphalt pavement laid on Blanco Street from Sixth Street to Enfield Road. Mr. Powell then offered the following resolution: A RESOLUTION FINALLY ACCEPTING PAVEMENT AND IMPROVEMENT ON BLANCO STREET FROM SIXTH STREET TO ENFIELD ROAD. Paving of Blanco St. Sixth St. to Enfield Addition Whereas, the Superintendent of Streets and Public Improvements has filed his report with the City Council to the effect that the Finley Method Company has completed the work of asphalting and improving Blanco Street from Sixth Street to Enfield Road, under contract with the city, and that said work has been fully done in strict accordance with said contract and specifications adopted by the city. Now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUSTIN, TEXAS: That said work of improvement be finally accepted by the city and that the final estimate due by the city to said company be paid. The resolution was passed by a vote of 4 yeas, no nays. APPROVED, Apr. 29, 1919: A. P. Wooldridge, Mayor. There were read to the Council reports of C. E. Leonard, City Engineer, and P. W. Whereas, the Superintendent of Streets and Public Improvements has filed his report with the City Council to the effect that the Finley Method Company has completed the work of asphalting and improving Riverside Drive from South Congress Avenue to the west walk line of Travis Heights Boulevard, under contract with the city, and that said work has been fully done in strict accordance with said contract and specifications adopted by the city. Now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUSTIN, TEXAS: That the said work of improvement be finally accepted by the city and that the final estimate due by the city to said company be paid.
