This certifies that the undersigned, all together and in the presence of one another, have this day destroyed by burning the following numbered and otherwise described bonds: We destroyed these bonds by burning them in the furnace at the City Hall in the City of Austin, Texas, on this 9th day of December,1920: City of Austin School Bonds, dated July 1st, 1910, numbered 6 to 15, inclusive, $1,000.00 each -------------------------$10,000.00 City of Austin Street Improvement Bonds, dated July 1st,1912, numbered 36 to 40, inclusive, $1,000.00 each ------------------ 5,000.00 City of Austin Sewer Bonds, dated July 1st, 1912, numbered 36 to 40, inclusive, $1,000.00 each --------------------------- 5,000.00 City of Austin Cemetery Bonds, dated July 1st, 1912, numbered 15 and 16, $1,000.00 each ----------------------------------- 2,000.00 City of Austin School Building Bonds, dated July 1st, 1915, numbered 21 to 25, inclusive, $1,000.00 each ------------------ 5,000.00 City of Austin Street, Bridge and Sewer Bonds, dated July 1st, 1915, numbered 41 to 50, inclusive, $1,000.00 each ---------------- 10,000.00 City of Austin Sanitary Sewer Bonds, dated July 1st, 1915, numbered 9 and 10, $1,000.00 each --------------------------- 2,000.00 City of Austin Refunding Bonds, dated July 1st, 1916, numbered 118 to 156, inclusive, $1,000.00 each ---------------- 39,000.00 City of Austin Sewage Disposal Plant Bonds dated July 1st, 1918, numbered 6 to 10, inclusive, $500.00 each ----------------- 2,500.00 Total --------------------------$80,500.00 (Sgd) W. SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL: Austin, Texas, December 13,1920. The Council was called to order by the Mayor. Roll call showed the following members present: Mayor Yett, Councilmen Alford, Graham, Haynes; 4 - absent, Councilman Ward. The following nominations were made: L. H. Kreisle, Presiding Judge of Fifth Ward; Gus Urbantke, Assisting Judge of Fifth Ward; W. H. Thaxton, Clerk of Fifth Ward; G. K. McMorris, Clerk of Fifth Ward. Wm. G. Franklin, Presiding Judge Fourth Ward; Geo. Begg, Assisting Judge Fourth Ward; C. G. Wukasch, Assisting Judge Fourth Ward. The above nominations were confirmed by the following vote: Ayes, Mayor Yett, Councilmen Alford, Graham, Haynes; 4, nayes, none, Councilman Ward absent. The Council then recessed.
