453 description of their various premises which abutted on said roadway in that all of said descriptions refer to Dam Boulevard; and Whereas, for the reasons above stated and with no desire to detract from the value of former Mayor Wooldridge's public services, but with a feeling that appropriate memorials have already been expressed in commemoration thereof, it is deemed expedient that said roadway be changed back to the name by which it has been known for so many years, Therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUSTIN: That the public roadway from the International & Great Northern Railway crossing from the western extension of West Sixth Street to the site of the Austin Dam in the City of Austin be and the same is hereby named and shall hereafter be perpetually known and called Dam Boulevard and the resolution of the City Council passed on April 3, 1919, as aforesaid, be and the same is hereby expressly repealed.
