It was finally decided to proceed with all physical arrangements at the hospital, in the way of planning a nurses home and listing necessary equipment and leave the financial arrangements for settlement later. The Council then adjourned. REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL: 465 Austin, Texas, June 2, 1921, The Council was called to order by the Mayor. Roll call showed the following members present: Mayor Yett, Councilmen Copeland, Eyres, Haynes and Searight, 5; absent, none. The Minutes of the last meeting were read and upon motion of Councilman Haynes were adopted by the following vote: Ayes, Mayor Yett, Councilmen Copeland, Eyres, Haynes and Searight, 5; nayes, none, A committee composed of Woodie Gilbert, J. W. Ezelle, W. E. Long and A. P. Watson appeared before the Council and asked the privilege of using Barton and Pease Parks as a free camping ground for tourists. The matter was taken under advisement by the City Council, Councilman Copeland nominated Mrs. R. C. Roberdeau as a member of the Advisory Board of the City Hospital. Nomination was confirmed by the following vote: Ayes, Mayor Yett, Councilmen Eyres, Haynes and Searight, 4; nayes, none, Councilman Copeland not voting. Councilman Eyres nominated A. J. Anderson, 2108 Sabine Street, as City Electrician. Nomination was confirmed by the following vote: Ayes, Mayor Yett, Councilmen Copeland, Haynes and Searight, 4; nayes, none, Councilman Eyres not voting. The monthly reports of Dr. A. A. Biebel and Mrs. R. C. Walker, Pure Food Inspectors, were read and ordered filed. The Council then recessed, SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL: Austin, Texas, June 7, 1921. The application of Herbert Diggs, colored, to operate a service car, Oakland #56438, was granted by the following vote: Ayes, Mayor Yett, Councilmen Copeland and Haynes; 3, nayes, none, Councilmen Eyres and Searight
