482 The application of C. W. Williams to operate as a service car Ford #526723, Engine #438622, was granted by the following vote: Ayes, Mayor Yett, Councilmen Copeland, Eyres, Haynes and Searight, 5; nayes, none. The Council then recessed, SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL: Austin, Texas, July 27, 1921, The Council met with the following members present: Mayor Yett, Councilmen Copeland, Eyres, Haynes and Searight, 5; absent, none, Copeland Upon motion of Coun of Iman. Councilman Searight was authorized to order one 10-ton tractor from the Holt Company of Dallas, Texas, same to be delivered at Austin for trial and acceptance by the City and if accepted to be purchased by the City upon the terms stated in said order. Motion prevailed by the following vote: Ayes, Mayor Yett, Councilmen Copeland, Eyres, Haynes and Searight, 5; nayes, none. The Council then adjourned, REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL: Austin, Texas. July 28, 1921, The Council was called to order by the Mayor. Roll call showed the following members present: Mayor Yett, Councilmen Copeland, Eyres, Haynes and Searight, 5; absent, none. The Minutes of the last meeting were read and upon motion of Counoilman Haynes were adopted by the following vote: Ayes, Mayor Yett, Coun- cilmen Copeland, Eyres, Haynes and Sesright, 5; nayes, none. The petition of M. E.Horner and others was read and upon motion of Councilman Searight was referred to the City Attorney and Councilman Copeland by the following vote: Ayes, Mayor Yett, Councilmen Copeland, Eyres, Haynes and Searight, 5; nayes, none. A communication from Hart & Patterson, Attorneys, relative to the claim for damages for A. McCulloch was read and upon motion of Councilman Eyres was referred to the City Attorney by the following vote: Ayes, Mayor Yett, Councilmen Copeland, Eyres, Haynes and Searight, 5; nayes, none. !
