The above resolution was adopted by the following vote: Ayes, Mayor Yett, Councilmen Copeland, Eyres, Haynes and Searight, 5; nayes, none, The Council then adjourned. 1 ! REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL: Austin, Texas, October 13, 1921 The Council was called to order by the Mayor. Holl call showed the following members present: Mayor Yett, Councilmen Copeland, Eyres, Haynes and Bearight, 5; absent, none, The regular order of business was suspended and Mrs. Wimbisch appeared before the Council and asked to have the pound fees paid by her refunded. Councilman Haynes moved that Mrs. Wimbisch be refunded one-half of said pound fees amounting to $4.50. Motion prevailed by the following vote: Ayes, Mayor Yett, Councilmen Copeland, Eyres, Haynes and Searight, 5; nayes, none. The Minutes of the last meeting were read and adopted by the following vote: Ayes, Mayor Yett, Councilmen Copeland, Eyres, Haynes and Searight, 5; nayes, none. Upon the recommendation of Sam D. Griffin, Chief of Police, Councilman Copeland nominated Bert Anderson as Special Policeman of the City of Austin. Nomination was. confirmed by the following vote: Ayes, Mayor Yett, Councilmen Copeland, Eyres, Haynes and Searight, 5; nayes, none. The following monthly reports were read and ordered filed: Walter L. Eyres, Superintendent Water, Light and Power Department; W. A. Alff, City Sexton; Dr. A. A. Biebel, Meat and Dairy Inspector; Miss Rosa Lengefeld, Superintendent of Nurses at City Hospital; C. L. Woodward, Chief of the Fire Department; Robert Rockwood, Fire Marshal; Mrs. R. C. Walker, Pure Food Inspector. The application of A. C. Randle to operate as a service car, Ford #450042, was granted by the following vote: Ayes, Mayor Yett, Councilmen Copeland, Eyres, Haynes and Searight, 5; nayes, none.
