The Council was called to order by the Mayort Roll call showed the following members present: Mayor Pro Tem H. L. Haynes, Councilmen Copeland, Eyres and Searight, 4; absent, Mayor Yett. The application of 0. 0. Terrell for permission to erect a temporary cloth sign across East Seventh Street was granted by the following vote: Ayes, Mayor Pro tem Haynes, Councilmen Copeland, Eyres, and searight, 4; nayes, none, Mayor Yett absent. The Minutes of the last meetings were read and upon motion of Councilman Haynes were adopted by the following vote: Ayes, Mayor Yett, Councilmen Copeland, Eyres, Haynes and Searight, 5; nayes, none. The report of Milton Morris, City Auditor, showing a summary of Warrants issued during month of November, 1921, was read and ordered filed by the following vote: Ayes, Mayor Yett, Councilmen Copeland, Eyres, Haynes and Senright, 5; nayes, none. The following monthly reports were read and ordered filed: Sam D. Griffin, Chief of Police, Robt, Rockwood, City Fire Marshal, Miss Rosa Lengefeld, Superintendent Nurses at City Hospital, Public Health Nursing Association, Mrs. R. C. Walker, Pure Food Inspector, and M. R. Miller, Mechanic for the Fire Department. The application of Isaac Joseph for permission to re-roof a shed at #200 Congress Avenue was read and upon motion of Councilman Bearight the same was refused by the following vote: Ayes, Mayor Yett, Councilmen Copeland, Fyres, Haynes and Searight, 5; nayes, none. Upon the recommendation of Sam D. Griffin, Chief of Police, Councilman Copeland nominated E. B. Barnhouse as special policeman to act as merchant police. Nomination was confirmed by the following vote: Ayes, Mayor Yett, Councilmen Eyres, Haynes and Searight, 4; nayes, none, Councilman Copeland not voting. Upon motion of Sam D.
