1 REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL: Austin, Texas, January 27, 1922 The Council was called to order by the Mayor. Roll call showed the following members present: Mayor Yett, Councilmen Copeland, Eyres, Haynes and Searight, 5; absent, none. Councilman Haynes moved that the reading of the Minutes of the last meeting be suspended until the next regular meeting. Motion prevailed by the following vote: Ayes, Mayor Yett, Councilmen Copeland, Eyres, Haynes and Searight; nayes, none. A. C. Baldwin and others appeared before the Council and asked for an increased appropriation for charity work in this City. Upon motion of Mayor Yett, Councilmen Copeland and Eyres were appointed a committee to confer with Mr. Brush in regard to installing an X Ray machine at the City Hospital, by the following vote: Ayes, Mayor Yett, Councilmen Copeland, Eyres, Haynes and Searight, 5; nayes, none. The application of s. J. Look to lease the Barton Springs Park was read and upon motion of Councilman Searight was referred to Councilman Eyres by the following vote: Ayes, Mayor Yett, Councilmen Copeland, Eyres, Haynes and Searight, 5; nayes, none, The City Auditor's report of summary of warrants issued against the different funds of the city was read. W. Graham, et al, appeared before the Council asking for an appropriation for the care of tubercular cases during the year 1922.
