Lewis Routt to install a gasoline station at 29th and Guadalupe Streets was read and Councilman Tyres moved that same be referred to Councilman Searight for his report back to the Council. Motion prevailed by the following vote: Ayes, Mayor Yett, Councilmen Copeland, Eyres, Haynes and Searight, 5; nayes, none. The reports for October of W. L. Eyres, Superintendent Water, Light and Power Department, and W. A. Alff, City Sexton, were read and ordered filed, The Council then adjourned, Joe Hornsbu WHEREAS, A. M. Lockett & Company, Ltd., through its agent, The Walter Tips Company, has submitted ite written proposal, dated November 29, 1922, to the City of Austin for the sale and delivery to the City of Austin of the following equipment for the Water, Light and Power Department, and at the following prices, to-wit: 1752 HP Sterling Boiler$21,171,00 1 Diamond Valve In-head Boot Blower 2-B & W Super Heaters ------------ 2400 HP Feed Water Heater1,239.00 8.470.00 3,890.000, 1 Terry Turbine driven Centrifugal Boiler Feed Pump ----------------- Centrifugel12165.00 with standard equipment ----...
