490 Yett, Councilmen Avery, Huynes, and Searight, 4; nayes, none, Councilmar Holen absent. The Council then adjourned. Joe Jomsby REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL: Austin, Texas, November 19, 1925. The Council was called to order by the Mayor. Roll call showed the following Mayor Yett, Councilmen Avery, Haynes, Nolen and Searight, 5; members present: absent, none. , The Minutes of the last meetings were read and Councilman Haynes moved that same be adopted. Motion prevailed by the following vote: Ayes, Mayor Yett, Councilmen Avery, Haynes, Nolen, and Searight, 5; nayes, none. A committee, composed of John Tobin, Harris Brush, and David Gracy, representing the Lions Club, appeared before the Council and asked that certain street improvements be made on the Dam Boulevard. Mayor Yett moved that after this date the City of Austin bear the expense of opening graves for burial of deceased children from the Orphan's Home. Motion prevailed by the following vote: Ayes, Mayor Yett, Councilmen Avery, Haynes, and Nolen, 4; nayes, Councilman Searight. The application of C. C. Street to install a gasoline storage tank at 4011 Guadalupe Street, together with the Safety Committee's report upon same, was read and Councilman Avery moved that same be granted as recommended. Motion prevailed by the following vote: Ayes, Mayor Yett, Councilmen Avery, Haynes, Nolen, and Searight, 5; nayes, none. The petition of the G&M Oycle Company, asking permission to erect an electric sign at 119 West 7th Street, was read and Councilman Avery moved that same be referred to the Safety Committee. Motion prevailed by the following vote: Ayes, Mayor Yett, Councilmen Avery, Haynes, Nolen, and Searight, 5; nayes, none. The application of Ramon Frogosa to erect an electric sign at 120 Congress Avenue, together with the Committee's report upon same, was read and Councilman Avery moved that same be granted, as recommended.
