246 το the City of Austin, as the same appears on the plat dedicating said alley, be and the same is hereby vecated. Councilman Reed moved the adoption of the above resolution. Motion was seconded by Councilman Steck and same prevailed by the following vote: Ayes, Mayor McFadden, Councilmen Mueller, Pannell, Reed, and Steck, 5; nays, none. The request of the Austin Prayer Center for free water and light at their building was read and Councilman Pannell moved that they be granted the same rates allowed the churches Motion was seconded by Councilman Reed and same prevailed by the following-vote: Ayes, Mayor McFadden, Councilmen Mueller, Pannell, Reed, and Steck, 5; nays, none. Councilman Mueller moved. that the Council recess, subject to call of the Mayor.. Motion prevailed by the following vote: Ayes, Mayor McFadden, Councilmen Mueller, Pannell, Reed, and Steck, 5; nays, none. The Council then recessed, SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL: Approven Mayor. Austin, Texas, January 26, 1928. The Council met at the call of the Meyor, pursuant to adjournment. Roll call showed the following members present: Mayor McFadden, Councilmen Mueller, Pannell, Reed, and Steck, 5; absent, none. The Mayor laid before the Council the general budget of the City of Austin for the year 1928, and same was ordered filed with the City Clerk for further action of the Council. Mayor. Councilman Mueller moved that the Council recess, subject to call of the Motion prevailed by the following vote: Ayes, Mayor McFadden, Councilmen Mueller, Pannell, Reed, and Steck, 5; nays, none. The Council then recessed. Approve W. Faders Mayor.
