A committee of citizens submitted a petition asking for a recreation park in the area north of 24th Street and west of Guadalupe Street. The matter was referred to the Park Board and Recreation Department for consideration. Messrs. A. J. Eilers and Sidney Smith submitted a petition signed by a large number of citizens asking for the passage of an ordinance regulating fishing in the Colorado River. Action on the matter was deferred until the next regular meeting, at which time any objection to the proposed ordinance will be heard.
