Councilman Alford moved that the application be ented. The motion corried by the following vote: Hoves," Councilmen Alford, Bartholomew, 71111", and Mayor Miller; "nrye," none; Councilmen Wolf absent. Acting City Manager Seaholm submitted to the Council e request from Lovrence Owens for the permanent closing of a portion of Mecinin Street adjacent to Lot 3, Outlot 13, Division "B". After a consideration of the matter, the Acting City Attorney was instructed to give proper notice to shutting property owners of the intention to vacate raid street. There being no further business, upon motion, seconded and errried, the meeting une recessed at 11:30 Α. Μ., subject to call of the Mayor. Councilmen Gillis offered the following resolution: (RESOLUTION) BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUSTIN: THAT Walter E. Seaholm, the Acting City Manager, be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to execute for and in behalf of the City of Austin n doed to H. H. Childrens, conveying Lot No. 7, Block "E", J. E. Bouldin Addition, in the City of Austin, for a total consideration of $119.65. Upon motion of Councilman Gillis, the foregoing resolution was adopted by the following vote!
