CITY OF AUSTIN, TEXAS 96 MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL CITY OF AUSTIN, TEXAS Recessed Meeting February 09, 1948 3:00 P. M. Council Chamber, City Hall The meeting was called to order, with Mayor Miller presiding. Roll call: Present: Councilmen Bartholomew, Johnson, Mayor Miller, and Councilman Thornberry - 4 Absent: Councilman Glass 1 Present also: Guiton Morgan, City Manager The Minutes of the City Council for the year 1947, beginning with the Regular Meeting of January 2, 1947, up to and including the Recessed Meeting of December 24, 1947, were read. Councilman Thornberry moved that the Minutes be adopted, as read. The motion carried by the following vote: Ayes: Councilmen Bartholomew, Johnson, Mayor Miller, and Councilman Thornberry Noes: None Absent: Councilman Glass. There being no further business, upon motion of Councilman Thornberry, the meeting was recessed, subject to call of the Mayor, by the following vote: Ayes: Councilmen Bartholomew, Johnson, Mayor Miller, and Councilman Thornberry Noes: None Attest: Hallia Miella City Clerk Jon Milla.
