1150 1150 CITY OF AUSTIN, TEXAS MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL CITY OF AUSTIN, TEXAS Recessed Hearing of the SOUTHWESTERN BELL TELEPHONE COMPANY Request for Rate Increase November 8, 9, 10, 1954 Council Chamber, City Hall Roll Call: The meeting was called to order with Mayor McAden presiding. Present: Councilmen Long, Pearson, Thompson, White, Mayor McAden Absent: None Present also: W. E. Seaholm, City Manager; W. T. Williams, Jr., City Attorney. The Mayor announced that this was a recessed meeting from June 25th, and the Council would continue studying the operations of the Telephone Company in regard to their plea for relief. MR. JAMES M. HONAKER gave a statement of his review.
