PAUL HORNBERGER submitted a petition signed by 112 firemen and some resolutions from different veterans' organizations asking that the name of ROGGE LANE be changed to P.W. SEIDERS ROAD. The City Manager stated the City was concerned only with that which was inside the city limits, and that ROGGE LANE came in as a part of the subdivision when it was approved. Two petitions had been received--one for the change to P.W. SEIDERS ROAD, and the other for keeping the street named ROGGE LANE. Councilman Pearson had information that MR. ROGGE had given quite a bit of the right-of-way to straighten out the whole road. Councilman Thompson suggested that the wishes for the people who own property and live on Rogge Lane be considered and the Council do whatever they wish it to do. Councilman White was under the impression those people were the ones that wanted the street left as Rogge Lane. Councilman Long suggested if they could not get together that they be approached on changing the whole road to ROGGE-SEIDERS. The Council deferred further action on Mr. Hornberger's request for two weeks.
