91 91 CITY OF AUSTIN, TEXAS NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING TO THE MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AUSTIN: Notice is hereby given that a Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Austin will be held on the 9th day of February, 1955, at the Municipal Building, Eighth and Colorado, in Austin, Texas, at 2:30 P.M. for the purpose of considering matters pertaining to the administrative set up. Little Council Chamber, City Hall 92 The meeting was called to order with Mayor McAden presiding. Roll Call: Present: Councilmen Long, Pearson, Thompson, White, Mayor McAden Absent: None The Mayor announced this was an exeuctive meeting called for the purpose of considering matters pertaining to the administrative set-up. Councilman Thompson moved that MR. W. T. WILLIAMS, JR., be appointed as the Acting City Manager until replaced. The motion, seconded by Councilman Pearson, carried by the following vote: Ayes: Councilmen Pearson, Thompson, White, Mayor McAden Noes: Councilman Long with the statement that he was loaded down with work already. Councilman Long moved that the Acting City Manager be paid on the basis of $12,500 a year during the sæting term. The motion, seconded by Councilman Pearson, carried by the following vote: Ayes: Councilmen Long, Pearson, Thompson, White, Mayor McAden Noes: None There being no further business, the Council adjourned.
