Little Council Chamber, City Hall 92 The meeting was called to order with Mayor McAden presiding. Roll Call: Present: Councilmen Long, Pearson, Thompson, White, Mayor McAden Absent: None The Mayor announced this was an exeuctive meeting called for the purpose of considering matters pertaining to the administrative set-up. Councilman Thompson moved that MR. W. T. WILLIAMS, JR., be appointed as the Acting City Manager until replaced. The motion, seconded by Councilman Pearson, carried by the following vote: Ayes: Councilmen Pearson, Thompson, White, Mayor McAden Noes: Councilman Long with the statement that he was loaded down with work already. Councilman Long moved that the Acting City Manager be paid on the basis of $12,500 a year during the sæting term. The motion, seconded by Councilman Pearson, carried by the following vote: Ayes: Councilmen Long, Pearson, Thompson, White, Mayor McAden Noes: None There being no further business, the Council adjourned.
