It was suggested that the City Manager, City Attorney, and Chief of Police meet and work out any details necessary; and to brief the officers of these new fines and see if there is a possibility of the violators being more cautions. In discussion, it was brought out that the Corporation Clerk's Office should remain open from 5:00 to 9:00 and on Saturdays, this additional service requiring additional personnel. The Mayor suggested that the additional amount of money necessary be determined, and whether it would be better to have more clerks or pay these overtime, and then have an appropriation drawn up. He suggested first not hiring additional people unless there was a demand. The Council agreed that the date to make these fines effective would be July 15, 1955. There being no further business, the Council adjourned subject to the call of the Mayor. ATTEST: Elan ele City Clerk APPROVED Mayor
