O. Davis, 321 321 _ CITY OF AUSTIN, TEXAS Inc., Austin, Texas, for the installation of all plumbing in said Swimming Pool; and, WHEREAS, the City's engineer has recommended that certain changes be made in the contract as awarded to said R.O. FOR AGAINST issuance of bonds under above Proposition No. 6 issuance of bonds under above Proposition No. 6 PROPOSITION NO. 7 PARKS, PLAYGROUNDS AND RECREATION 324 SHALL the City Council of the City of Austin be authorized to issue bonds of said City in the sum of SEVEN HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS ($700,000) for the purpose of constructing and improving PUBLIC PARKS and PUBLIC PLAYGROUNDS of the City of Austin and for constructing, improving and repairing buildings and other Recreation facilities of said parks and playgrounds, and for acquiring necessary land and equipment therefor, said bonds to bear interest at a rate not exceeding four per centum (4%) per annum, interest payable semi-annually, and to mature not exceeding thirty (30) years from the date of said bonds, serially or otherwise, as may be determined by ordinance of the City Council, and to levy annually a tax sufficient to pay the interest on said bonds and to create a sinking fund of at least two per centum (2%) of the principal of said bonds and sufficient to redeem said bonds at their maturity. FOR AGAINST issuance of bonds under above Proposition No. 7 issuance of bonds under above Proposition No. 7 325 325 - CITY OF AUSTIN, TEXAS= PROPOSITION NO. 8 GARBAGE DISPOSAL PLANTS SHALL the City Council of the City of Austin be authorized to issue bonds of said City in the sum of SEVEN HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS ($700,000) for the purpose of constructing and equipping GARBAGE DISPOSAL PLANTS and for acquiring necessary lands and equipment therefor, said bonds to bear interest at a rate not exceeding four per centum (4%) per annum, interest payable semi-annually, and to mature not exceeding thirty (30) years from the date of said bonds, serially or otherwise, as may be determined by ordinance of the City Council, and to levy annually a tax sufficient to pay the interest on said bonds and to create a sinking fund of at least two per centum (2%) of the principal of said bonds and sufficient to redeem said bonds at their maturity.
