MR. TRUEMAN E. O'QUINN represented the applicants and submitted the following: "Honorable Tom Miller, Mayor The City of Austin Austin, Texas "Dear Mayor Miller: "Please consider this an application to the City Council of the City of Austin for approval of transfer by the Yellow Cab Company of Austin of its franchises and other rights for the operation of a taxicab business in the City of Austin to K. M. Fisher with whom the Yellow Cab Company has negotiated and entered into a contract subject to approval of the City Council for the sale and transfer of the inventory, assets, and franchises of the Yellow Cab Company. FISHER EFFECTIVE 6:00 P.M. MAY 21, 1956; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
