November 02, 1967 =CITY OF AUSTIN, TEXAS Recreation Fees for Junior Players at Caswell Tennis Center The City Manager stated these fees were inadvertently left out when the Council acted on these matters previously. The Recreation Director recommended the following schedule of fees: "(2) Court Fee, per 1 1/2 hour, per player Adults Children high school or under Mayor Akin introduced the following ordinance: $1.00 .60 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 22 OF THE AUSTIN CITY CODE OF 1954 PERTAINING TO FEES AND CHARGES FOR FEES AT CASWELL TENNIS CENTER; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. The ordinance was read the first time and Councilman Nichols moved that The the rule be suspended and the ordinance passed to its second reading. motion, seconded by Councilman LaRue, carried by the following vote: Ayes: Mayor Akin, Councilmen Janes, LaRue, Nichols Noes: None Absent: Councilman Long The ordinance was read the second time and Councilman Nichols moved that the rule be suspended and the ordinance passed to its third reading. The motion, seconded by Councilman LaRue, carried by the following vote: Ayes: Noes: Mayor Akin, Councilmen Janes, LaRue, Nichols None Absent: Councilman Long The ordinance was read the third time and Councilman Nichols moved that the ordinance be finally passed. The motion, seconded by Councilman LaRue, carried by the following vote: Ayes: Mayor Akin, Councilmen Janes, LaRue, Nichols Noes: None Absent: Councilman Long The Mayor announced that the ordinance had been finally passed. Air Conditioning Fees The City Manager stated this was a budgetary procedure and certain recommendations were made to the Council; but the implementation of this revision, does not reflect the sizing practice so far as these air conditioners and heating units are concerned. The Building Official pointed out the change in fee for 1,000 BTU over 60,000 $9.24; over 120,000, $13.56; and $20.04.
