Special Meeting MEMORANDUM TO: 10:00 Α.Μ. August 09, 1968 Councilman LaRue absent as he was out of the City. MAYOR AKIN called the meeting to order announcing that the meeting was called for the purpose of passing an ordinance repealing Ordinance 68517-A (Fair Housing Ordinance) through its second reading, The Council, on Councilman Nichols' motion, seconded by Councilman Janes, passed ORDINANCE No. 680808-A through its second reading. (3 to 1 to 0 vote, Councilman Long voting against the motion, and Councilman LaRue absent.) On Councilman Janes' motion, the Council adjourned at 10:01.
